Burnett County Drug and Alcohol Court
Description: Burnett County Drug Court is looking for occasional volunteers to help out with transportation needs, general education diplomas and/or high school equivalency diplomas. Volunteers will need to sign a release of information (ROI) for confidentiality reasons.

Burnett County Family Resource Center, Inc.
Description: We look for volunteers to do a variety of tasks. They may include but are not limited to: Helping at events including prepping snacks and crafts, cleaning and washing dishes, light office work such as answering phones and assisting the public, helping with Baby Go Round which may include sorting and washing clothes. Volunteer would need to be able to pass a background check and having a valid driver’s license is a plus (unless a student).

Grantsburg Public Library
Description: Reading Program: Grantsburg Library offers a literacy program for children in grades 1-6. Volunteers are needed on a weekly or bi-weekly bases to work one-on-one with enrolled children. Shelving and Maintaining Shelf Order: Volunteers are needed to shelve materials and assist staff with material check-outs and check-ins volunteers. Volunteers work on a weekly or bi-weekly bases. Library Board Trustees: The business and affairs of the library are governed and managed by the Board of Directors.

Description: At Connections volunteers are the heart of the organization. They sort, price and organize donations. They also help the store by cashiering and keeping store displays neat and organized. Volunteers also work our food shelf by providing services to our clients and unloading food trucks. Description: Volunteering at the Larsen Family Public Library provides important support for our library’s mission. These are some of the basic tasks that a volunteer may do: check library materials out; check library materials in; issue and replace library cards; miscellaneous tasks: collecting money for photocopies, monitoring internet use, keeping collections in order, helping patrons locate materials, providing simple directional information.

Ruby’s Food Shelf
Description: Help stamp out hunger in our community. Ruby’s Food Shelf is run by volunteers who assist recipients in selecting food options, help restock shelves, unload our delivery truck, or assist with fundraising activities. During the summer months, there are opportunities to help with our community garden and be involved in gleaning produce from farmers partnering with us.
